1. WHAT IS GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation is a Regulation of the European Union that entered into force on 25.5.2018, and refers to the protection of privacy. The main objectives are to provide transparency and prevent misuse of private data, i.e. to give users an insight into how their data is used. The GDPR does not apply to anonymized data.

In accordance with the legal regulations on personal data protection, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation, Best 4 Pet d.o.o. undertakes all actions necessary to preserve the security of your data, which includes their secure storage and permanent protection according to these regulations.

2. WHAT IS THE PRIVATE DATA?

Name and surname, location data, credit card information, religious affiliation and philosophical beliefs, ethnicity, sexual orientation and gender, IP addresses, personal e-mail messages.

3. WHO DOES GDPR APPLY TO?

All companies that handle EU data, regardless of the company's location (e.g. U.S. companies doing business with EU citizens). The exception is companies that process personal data only occasionally and companies that do not process special categories of personal data. The head of the company's database, which employs more than 20 workers, is obliged to appoint a personal data protection officer.

4. WHAT ARE THE SANCTIONS?

Warnings, warnings, prohibitions on processing, fines. Milder fines go back to €10 million, or 2% yr. traffic, and for serious violations up to 4%, i.e. EUR 20 million.

5. WHAT DATA DOES OUR COMPANY OWN?

Best 4 Pet d.o.o. has 2 types of data, depending on the type of user best4pet.org website: our customers and newsletter subscribers. For customers, we have more data, such as first and last name, address of residence or cash on delivery, mobile phone and e-mail, and for subscribers of the newsletter we store e-mail, name and surname of the subscriber and date of birth. For subscribers to the newsletter, it is necessary to confirm the registration by clicking on the link that Best 4 Pet d.o.o. sends to the e-mail indicated for the subscription to the newsletter, thus ensuring the necessary control and determining whether the person actually said has made the application. Any subscriber can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, which is currently deleted from our database.

6. WHAT DO WE DO WITH THAT DATA?

Customer data is used exclusively for business purposes, to carry out orders and personalize the user experience, and the customer's electronic address is used to send newsletters. These data are maximally protected and their management is entrusted exclusively to one authorized person. The buyer can at any time request all the data that Best 4 Pet d.o.o. stores about him for inspection and will receive them free of charge. The data is strictly protected and Best 4 Pet d.o.o. does not share it with third parties, unless otherwise specified for the purpose of delivering or improving the user experience.

7. PURCHASE AND REGISTRATION ON THE SITE best4pet.org

1. Best 4 Pet collects your personal data through the best4pet.org website for the purpose of conducting an online order. The information required for the successful execution of the order are: name and surname of the buyer, delivery address, e-mail and contact number.

2. Customer information provided in the order form. Best 4 Pet d.o.o. establishes to its partner Overseas Croatia, if delivery is made in the Republic of Croatia, i.e. delivery service DPD, if delivery is made in the Republic of Slovenia. These delivery services operate according to legal regulations that protect personal data.

3. Any visitor to the website best4pet.org can register. Registering on the best4pet.org page makes it easier for customers to order products and makes it easier to track ordering history.

4. When registering, you will be offered the opportunity to receive the newsletter.
